Multi-party screenshare with different modes and annotation
Multi-party screenshare allows multiple participants to share their screens simultaneously. You can easily switch between different shared screens and click on any shared screen to maximise it for better visibility. Cosmos supports high-quality sharing up to 4K resolution, making it perfect for collaborative work sessions, presentations, and training.
How to start screensharing
- Go to bottom left of Cosmos
- Click on the screen icon
- Select your preferred sharing mode
- Choose what to share:
- A specific window or application
- A browser tab
- Your entire screen
- Click

Your screenshare will be visible to everyone in the call immediately.
Screenshare modes
Cosmos offers three different screenshare modes to optimise for different scenarios:
- Slow connection
- Best for when you or participants have limited bandwidth
- Standard quality (default mode)
- Best for document viewing, provides crisp, clear text and images
- Smoother video
- Optimised for video playback with higher frame rates for smooth motion
Annotate on the screenshare
Make sure that the person sharing their screen is on Cosmos desktop app, others can:
- Annotate on shared screens with pen tool
- Select different pen colours
- Highlight important information in real-time
Share system audio while screensharing
Make sure you are screensharing from Chrome browser:
- Click on start screenshare
- Share the Chrome tab and enable "Also share tab audio" toggle
- Everyone in the call will hear the screenshare audio
