Collaborative tools: App Selector, Whiteboard, Games

App Selector

The App Selector allows you to integrate external websites and tools directly into your Cosmos calls:

1. Click on Apps in the bottom toolbar
2. Paste a link to open the website in the call
3. Everyone in the call must click on Apps or press X on their keyboard to view the shared app

Compatible applications include:

• Productivity tools: Figma, Google Docs, Sheets, Slides
• Whiteboard platforms: Miro
• Video platforms: YouTube, Twitch

Note: Only websites with iframe embedding enabled will work. Currently, each participant needs to manually open the app, but we're working on improving this so admins can open apps for everyone simultaneously.

Cosmos Whiteboard

Cosmos features a built-in collaborative whiteboard:

1. Click on Apps in the bottom toolbar
2. Select Cosmos Whiteboard
3. Give your whiteboard a title
4. You can add sticky notes, draw with pen tool, add text, upload images and do much more

The whiteboard updates in real-time, allowing all participants to contribute simultaneously.

Games

Cosmos includes 15 built-in team-building games like Cosmos art, poker, who said it best, jigsaw and many more:

1. Navigate to a game table or a game room in your space
2. Look for the Games option in the toolbar or press X
3. Have everyone click on the Games option
4. As the host, select a game from the menu
5. Players will click to join the game session

Games are designed to foster team bonding and provide a fun break during work sessions or social gatherings.
