Meeting chat: Communicate with call participants

Meeting/Conversation chat automatically creates whenever a call starts, providing a text-based communication channel for everyone in the conversation.

Access Meeting Chat

  1. Access the chat by clicking the chat icon in the bottom toolbar
  2. Send formatted messages, emojis, file attachments, or create polls in the chat
  3. Everyone in the call will see your messages in real-time

Access history of conversation even after the call ends

Your meeting chat history is automatically saved:

  1. Find past conversations in the left sidebar
  2. Navigate to Recent conversations > Recent
  3. Select any previous conversation to view its chat history

Accessibility

  • All call participants, including guests, can access Meeting Chat
  • When a new call begins with different participants, a fresh chat automatically starts
  • Chat history remains available even after calls end
