Walk up to someone to video chat

Use the arrow keys to move your avatar. As you move closer to others, you'll be able to see and hear them. You'll stop seeing people as you move away from them, just like in real life.

Who can see and hear you?

You'll see a highlighted area around your avatar. Anyone inside this area is able to see and hear you. Those who outside this area won't be able to see or hear you. 

Private areas

Venues in Cosmos mimic the real world. So, on entering a private room or carpet area, only people inside the room will see or hear you. In these rooms, you can only hear or see the other people in the room.

Anyone outside, even one step away from it won't be able to listen in, or see the people in the room, unless they come inside.
