Mac - Screenshare stopped working

If your screenshare has recently stopped working with Chrome on Mac, you've likely encountered a known Chrome bug. Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
  1. Remove screen recording permissions for Chrome:
    • Go to System SettingsPrivacy & SecurityScreen & System Audio Recording
    • Turn off the toggle for Google Chrome
  2. Quit and reopen Chrome completely
  3. Re-grant screen recording permissions to Chrome:
    • When prompted, allow Chrome to access screen recording
    • Or return to System Settings and enable the toggle for Chrome
  4. Quit and reopen Chrome again
  5. Open Cosmos and attempt to screenshare - it should now work correctly

This process resets the permission chain between macOS and Chrome, fixing the screensharing functionality.
