Integration - Outlook
Connect Outlook with Cosmos to streamline your video meetings and calendar workflow. The integration offers two powerful features to enhance your meeting experience.
Microsoft 365: Sync your Outlook calendar to Cosmos:
- View all Outlook events for different users directly in Cosmos
- See meeting participants and details in Cosmos
- Automatically update when meetings change
Outlook Calendar Add-in: Add Cosmos meeting links to Outlook:
- Generate Cosmos meeting links automatically when organising meetings in Outlook calendar
- No manual copying of meeting links needed
Note: We recommend connecting both sections to take full advantage of Cosmos.
Requirements:
To set up the Outlook Integration, you must be:
- Cosmos Admin
- Microsoft 365 Admin
Follow these steps:
To Sync Microsoft 365 Calendar:
- Go to
Space dropdown
>User preferences
> SelectOutlook Calendar
in Integrations. - Click
Connect Microsoft 365
- Sign in with your correct Microsoft 365 admin account.
- Click
Accept
to grant the necessary permissions to sync the calendar events.
- You'll see the success screen once connected.
To Get Outlook Add-in :
- Go to
Space dropdown
>User preferences
> SelectOutlook Calendar
in Integrations. - Click
Install Outlook Add-in
- Click
Get it now
(login to your Outlook if prompted) and make sure that the correct Outlook account is logged in.
- Your Microsoft 365 admin centre will open. Select
Entire Organization
to deploy for all team members using Cosmos. This saves time by adding the add-in for everyone at once.
- Click
Next
for both Users and Deployment steps, and then click onFinish Deployment
- The deployment takes 10-20 seconds to get deployed. The add-in may take up to 72 hours to appear in Outlook.
- Once the add-in is deployed, go to your Outlook Calendar tab and create a new appointment. Click on Cosmos Video add-in and Sign-in/up to your Cosmos account.
- Allow Cosmos to open a new window.
- Select your default Cosmos space from the dropdown and click
Authorize
.
- Once authorised, you can set Cosmos links with
Set Link to Meeting,
and it will populate the necessary fields.
That's it; you are ready to host meetings in Cosmos.
