Members and how to add them?
Why should you add members?
Cosmos spaces are built to be secure, adding members ensures your information is safe.
- Members can access the space without the need to knock
- Access team channels, and direct messages (please note channels are not accessible to guests)
- Easily access recordings through the video inbox (by turning on the toggle to share the recording with members)
- Members can allow guests to enter the space by accepting the knock notification.
- Setup notifications to ensure they don’t miss a message on the web or desktop. Mobile notifications are expected soon.
- Integrate Cosmos into the tools you use: Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, Spotify, and slack (if needed)
Ways to add members:
1. Anyone with a domain email to auto-join your space

You’ll see the option to turn on auto-join with domain during the space setup process. If you want to change the setting, please drop us a line at support@cosmos.video.
We’ll bring this toggle to our user management pane soon.
👉🏻 Invite members via email:
To access this menu, please visit your cosmos space > settings cog wheel > users > Manage team members
👉🏻Invite by a join link:
Click “Allow anyone to join via an invite link” and share the link.
Once you share the link to your team, they’ll be requested to signup, up and automatically become members of the Cosmos space. If they visit: cosmos.video/dashboard, they’ll see the Cosmos space on the dashboard.
