Meeting Rooms: Host focused group calls with recording and breakouts
Meeting Rooms are like conference rooms or classrooms in a physical building, where everyone can see and hear each other, regardless of position. The entire room functions as a single video call—similar to Google Meet or Zoom—perfect for planned meetings, presentations, and discussions where everyone needs to participate.
Meeting Rooms are ideal for:
- Team standups: Daily check-ins where everyone participates
- Workshops and presentations: Structured sessions requiring full attention
- Private conversations: Sensitive discussions that need confidentiality
- Brainstorming sessions: Collaborative discussions with your team
- Client meetings: Professional, focused environment for external calls
- All-hands meetings: Company-wide announcements and updates
Meeting Rooms provide structure when you need everyone's full attention or when discussing topics that require privacy.
How to join a Meeting Room
1. Locate a Meeting Room on your floor plan—look for the room cards with presentation board icon
2. Click inside the Meeting Room area
3. You'll instantly join the call and see everyone in the room
When you join, the entire Meeting Room background lights up on the floor plan, showing that a call is active.
Meeting Room features
Meeting Rooms come equipped with everything you need for productive calls. Access all meeting tools from the bottom toolbar:

- Invite: Bring teammates or guests into the meeting
- Record: Capture the entire meeting for future reference (powered with AI transcriptions and summaries)
- Hand Raise: Raise your hand to signal you want to speak.
- React: Send quick emoji reactions during the call

Meeting Room capacity
Meeting Rooms support up to 200 participants in a single call, making them perfect for company-wide meetings, large workshops, or all-hands sessions.
Meeting Rooms vs Spatial Areas
Meeting Rooms function like conference rooms where everyone sees and hears each other regardless of position—similar to a traditional video call.
Spatial Areas work like physical open spaces where people can only hear and see others when they're close to each other. To know more about Spatial Areas, see here
Use Meeting Rooms for structured discussions where everyone needs to participate. Use Spatial Areas for organic, walk-up interactions and networking.
